Yeah the lady really knew her stuff

The Sheffield Egg is incredibly buff

And one just isn't enough.




She then starts informing me of the story

Of this incredible egg

Locally sourced, free range of course

From a chicken in a local shed




Whose neighbour the pig and those Henderson kids

And a cheddar from just up the street

And Pete's famous chutney is there at the party

All wrapped up in breadcrumbs and seed




And the genius who we owe this recipe to

Is a truly remarkable chap

His name's Michael Dungworth he's a guy you'll have fun with

As he gives you an egg to unwrap

He won't be pulling your leg

It really is a hell of an egg

So do yourself a favour and have one of these




But keep in mind when you do

The thing that makes the Sheffield Egg cool
