We're all entitled to our opinions. All I know is that these guys are down to earth & they love playing concerts and working with kids. When they left our campus, the band hall was filled with inspired and on-fire kids. They did a great job sharing their passion with us and giving us all some great practice tips. They did a great job!

  • Whoever the hell disliked this is a flat-footed Violin Jockey who'd die if he picked up a real instrument.

  • nope.

  • fast -sure, but sloppy, and WTF with the weird dynamics and total lack of balance? I get the idea of a fun show, but this was Bill Chase meets Rimsky-Korsakov with none of the great parts of either, just blaring sound and finger wiggling. RealChewbacca - listen to Black Dyke Mills, any DCI corps, wait, practically any brass group. They play it better.

  • That was some really sloppy trumpet playing.... But that trombone player was like omfg, amazing. But seriously, that was disgusting

  • @chrism4n14 I don't know what these guys are playing on but my private lesson teacher was a founder of this group and he plays a Bach Stradivarius 43.

  • Does anyone know what trumpets the two trumpet players are playing on?

  • Looks like 20 people have heard Mnozil brass before

  • @typicalrog It's ok typicalrog. Commentators like hockeywarrior and rwtrpt sit at home all day and critique other videos with no prior experience to show for. I happen to appreciate this and other postings of the quintet. I've enjoyed them immensely. I consider them to be some of the best brass players I've heard! Keep posting!
