context is the key to the harry reids statement we dont really know what the comment was in reference to .and how he arrived at his analysis " negro dialect " is at a glance offensive to me and other black people but no more than it is odd and laughable considering that negro is a word that went out about 30 or so years ago but it displays the awkwardness in articulating the fact that for some white voters obama being lighter skin and "white sounding "is more palpatable to them .

Coulter, you can't have a debate with Sharpton. His technique is to talk over someone when they're making a point, so he will never be able to actually hear what you're saying. It's his only defense. Talk over and talk louder.

Too bad you were wrong in your prediction re Reid, but November 2010 was still an amazing sweep!! All my Arizona friends (online and IRL) are still apologizing for Reid's reelection. I feel the pain of their embarrassment.

If a person voices an opinion about a particular group of people or "ethnic" issue, they are labeled RACIST! I'm sick of that word being thrown around, many times improperly-might I add. I will not deny there have been & likely will always be race related issues in this country-hell, in this world. I'd rather address the underlying issues that sometimes fuel the racial adversity rather than deal with the pettiness of surface issues such as this. If you can understand him, that's what matters.
