If you think chin ups are good, or you think burpees are great, just imagine how awesome this exercise will be for your fat loss and strength.

  • Totally agree,

Muscle ups are harder strength wise, but for total body conditioning (mix of strength and cardiovascular) this one is the business. Well, thats my opinion anyway!

  • ur just jumping to the bar hows that gonna do anything

  • cool. just change the title. its a good workout but no where close to the hardest body weight exercise.

  • I don't know if I'd call this that rigorous of an exercise, just because the jump momentum must carry you through the chin up. It would be pretty hard if the bar was at the very top of your jump so you had to go full throttle to reach it and had no momentum helping your pull up.

  • was expecting a serious challenge. burpies and chins are hard but i would not consider this to bee "hardest" even a muscle up cleans this out. the best merit from this exercise is that because of the change in plans Push to pull horizontal to vertical the heart has to work hard to continue a steady stream of nutrients to the working muscles thus rendering it a great over all work out. my bad for thinking along the lines of hard in the way of strength
