I can't remember. I had used Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water, but they pulled a copyright claim, so I had to swap the audio to one of YouTube's tracks.

me and my friend were gunna do this as a project cause i dunno it looked like it would work?
cause i thought the acid or whatever you call it in the battery would leak into the water making it able to catch flames

But hey, you can always experiment with other things. Leave the batteries in longer, use salt water, whatever...

In the original film the flame was nearly invisible and didn't have the pretty blue isopropyl flame. Probably a hydroxy flame.

Yeah. I never burned 90% before. I didn't expect it to burn so strong.
I don't know what they used, but I do know it wasn't water.

At first. But then I poured it out and replaced it with isopropyl alcohol.
I suspect something similar was done in the original video that fooled so many people.
