McMahon is the most stereotypical Republican ever, they don't really understand economic policy or the blowback as a result of militarism. Schiff on the other hand, has an incredible knowledge of markets and the dangerous nature of unintended consequences.

She basically regurgitated George Bush's tough guy rhetoric of "Fight them over there, so you don' t have to fight them here", and turned it into a vagina monologue of her own. And people fell for it. I'm glad the corporate Socialist beat her though.

I've always found that idea that there should be no time table for military operations to be truly baffling and stupid. And the idea that somehow by timing out a mission you're "not supporting the troops" is really absurd. Figure how long it takes to blow shit up and neutralize the threat then be done with it. The problem, I suppose, is this idea that our soldiers should be building new societies rather than wasting our enemies.

It's really amazing listening to these two empty suits next to Schiff. Pete's just laying it all out there. They're both just repeating the same tired nonsense that's really insulting to those of us with more than a fourth grade mental capacity (which is unfortunately the minority in this world).
