@1996cjtg Does it really matter if you drive a car which is 3.5 meters long (C1) or a Corolla with 4.1 metres? I don't think that half a meter gives you an advantage in traffic... But it's also a question of taste. Some like the look of those cars, I don't! I drive a 17 years old Audi and it's a very, very good car!
@1996cjtg That's true about the americans. It's nothing but stupid to put V8 with stone age technology in a car which will be used to drive a few hundret meters and buy donuts every morning... But there are really good used cars! An Audi A3 for example, a Toyota Corolla or a VW Golf. I dare to say it's more ecological to drive a good used car than buy a new one. Of course a C1 needs less fuel but there's a huge amount of energy and materials necessary to produce the new car.
@MrLowAltitude I assume you are not in the UK with using the $ sign. The C1 and many other cars are ideal for UK streets which are very busy and have lots of traffic. Americans have the wrong idea on cars thinking getting bigger is better. Over in the UK 'used' cars are not as common, and people want small cars (which are very good) and easy to drive. Btw, it's not a toy car and is a much better buy than some old Yankee scrap with 5 too many cylinders.
I just can't understand people who pay over $10'000 for such a shitty looking plastic toy car when you could get a really cool used one (An Audi A3 for example...) for the same money!
