  • plenty of people on our society live outside the law, bernanke, rubin, bush, etc etc.. bloomberg is a liar.

  • @Smoores09

You must be unaware that Wall Street and the big corporations are running your country. They have bought all your politicians so that none can be trusted . Most of them are so wealthy they don't have to work, like Romney, they can live on their investments. There are plenty of people with degrees who are crooks so you would be better off trusting no one.

  • @Smoores09

If the 1% were interested in solving the "nations" problems, the nation wouldn't have problems. The 1% are only interested in lining their own pockets. Consider themselves above even the law. Totally despise the lower classes. Couldn't care less if they are ill nourished, ill housed or ill educated.

  • @Emma27546 that says absolutely nothing about his character. people are allowed to be more wealthy than others. OWS thinks this is unfair. what's unfair about hard work and intelligence leading to profit oh right... it requires more effort than yelling in a park and bothering people. this isn't a socialist country and OWS needs to realize that and accept that educated, successful people who have worked hard deserve more than those who haven't

  • @summerchild53 yeah he's so dumb with that Hopkins degree and harvard MBA...

  • @FedupwithR i'd trust elected and appointed people with degrees and an education who spend their days working at a real job and advancing their knowledge of their field over people who spend their days in a park in tents yelling about nothing

  • @Vercetti667 that's really smart! threaten a public servant on the internet! that'll get you from zucotti park to rikers. if you aren't even educated enough to understand the law you probably shouldn't be assessing financial problems or fairness in government. Signed, the 1%

  • Just a thought: Bloomberg and most of the 1% have college degrees... that makes them much more equipped to solve the nation's problems and more knowledgeable about the current financial situation then the people who sit in a park and sing and have no clue what's going on in the world. Hint: instead of yelling we're the 99% all day read a book or find a job- that will get you more money than any protest that the wealthiest people in the country laugh at will.

  • @Audimaro If only, if only. The army is ruled by the very oppressors themselves legally, so their appearance would (sadly) most likely result in a quick and violent tyrannical end to the movement. Being trained to obey order, they'd have few qualms and I doubt many would choose to defect (and, for those that do in such a circumstance, they'd be branded traitors to the country).

Desperate or not, the army is controlled (much like the police) by the state and will undoubtedly fight for them.

  • @ColdHonor Agreed.
