Very cute, but incrediably unsafe! If a child is still falling asleep in the car, she needs to be put in a booster seat with a lap/shoulder belt. She is entirely too little to be sitting in a lap belt.

Please educate yourself on how dangerous it is for your gorgeous neice to be sitting in a lapbelt only at her age. Google lap belt syndrome or visit cpsafety dot com.

Cute girl, unfortunately she should be in a booster seat to keep her safe. Children (or adults for that matter) should never ride in a lap only belt and she would most likely be killed or severly injured in a crash. Check out this video, it shows some crash test footage of a lapbelt only crashtest.
