i heard a long time ago in the design phase they were intending to balance out the gameplay... to make it easier for new players to join the fun... it's too bad good players like you feel that your acheivements can't translate into this iteration of the game, but really it's just because it's called street fighter 4... not because it's a bad game... maybe they should have just given the game a different name like street fighter 2 - reremix.

My major grief is that it nerfs the shit out of upper level players. The game intentionally makes it so bad players can stand a chance with little effort against much better players.
My brother, who is awful at the game, manages to get 1 out of 5 matches on me. AND I'M REALLY DAMNED GOOD!!! REALLY GOOD!
Like when my buddy showed me the Ken vs Chun Li fight I didn't bat an eye, cause I've had those sort of matches before.
