Not always but they don't tend to live as long as most breeds, my other Shar-pei Moose is now 12 but he's not doing to well right now. :-(

i have boston, now 13 years old. i had both of his parents until they passed years ago. it is so devastating to do the right thing when you know that their quality of life has diminshed. the love, and companionship they have gave me will stay with me forever. i hope i am strong when boston's time comes, and think of him only.he has old age problems, but still loves getting around.i cry when i watch your video. to those who read this, colchicine helps with the kidneys, might want to ask your vet.

Raven didn't have Amyloid nor was there nothing wrong with her kidneys. She had skin Cancer she also had a very bad allergy to grass, the vets did everything possible, but there was nothing left to be done for her but put her out of her pain.

Raven had Skin cancer, everything we could do was done to help her but she started loosing weight and stopped eating and was in a lot of pain. :(

Thank you for sharing..Im still grieving the loss of my bestfriend Gabrielle' She would have turned 10yrs old Dec 3 2010, but she couldnt make it that far, we had to put her to rest 08-23-10. I miss her everyday. The most beautiful girl ever..Red Fawn Sharpei, who loved life, loved the car ride in the passenger seat like the lady she was. My heart aches for her, cant quite believe she is gone but I know Jesus is watching over her till I get to heaven. RIP Gabbie Girl, Mom loves you baby girl

she was a creamyish tan shar-pei and her name was IZZY.

she died 4 years ago yet i still miss her!!!!!!!! :'(

I had Grunt creamated, he is on top of my dresser, with his tags and few claws that I found around the house.

I had a boy Shar Pei named Grunt, we had to put him to sleep 5 years ago, because of a brain tumor, he is missed everday, this beautiful tribute to your Raven brought me to tears, she was very pretty, they never leave you, even after death. Thank you for loving here the way you did, they deserve it my YouTube name was his pedigree papers name.

I had 2 Sharpei`s,but the male died 7 may 2009:(

Now i only have the female and she`s gonna be 10 this year.

I miss him so mutch:(
