I remember the war crimes, the admiral and her military of the pegasus did. They had no honour or glory. If there is a battlestar to remember its deffinitly the Galactica.

If it wernt for the pegasus the galactica would have never made it to earth so in a way she still had a heart beat till the end. THANK YOU PEGASUS FOR WHAT YOU DID.

they concentrated there raider and basetars on her, she had a skeletal crew and no viper support, so she was wide open to attack and couldnt have handled too much, they abandoned ship and set her to collide with one, taking another out by chance............

Basically, it was when they went to liberate and rescue New Caprica. Galactica jumped in alone to launch her vipers to help the ground units fight off the cylons in order to get the ships of the ground, Galactica found herself in a losing battle agaisnt 4 basestars, Pegasus left her viper wings with the fleet that escaped and jumped in, just in the time to own one of the basestars as u see in 2:18, the cylons must have deemed her a larger threat so.......................
