Seta is a fabulous pianist . and teacher (so I was told years ago.)

Waxman and Sarasate wrote both Carmen fantasy.

@MrStefdj - this is a great performance! I've been trying to play this piece for ages and can't get within a hundred miles of this speed and accuracy.

@trms83br - Horowitz did have a source and I think it was chiefly some Carmen variations that had been written for violin and piano, but I can't remember who wrote it. I don't know if he also knew this piece but I would imagine he must have done as he was well acquainted with the works of Mozkowski and played various of them as encore pieces.

This is AMAAAAAAAAAZING!!!!!! This piece is perfecr...and for the record, Moszkowsky didn`t steal from Bizet, he wrote quazi Carmen Fantasiaghty it`s all there in on the paper...And Seta is some mighty pianist....

Moszkowski stole from Bizet, so Horowitz' indiscretion can be forgiven. This version is cleaner, with less schmaltz.

An enjoyable arrangement with some nice harmonic twists here and there -although I keep finding myself missing Horowitz's version! The nimble-fingered Seta Tanyel does a great job with it!

Great! I personally think, both versions (This one and Horowitz's) are fine, but this one seems to be more complex in musicality. Although they both share the same theme, this one seems to be the most developed and a nice kind tone for your ear to hear.
Poland seems to have had 2 of the largest composers. Chopin and Moszkowski (I'm not claiming that he was fully Polish, he was of Polish decent though, and living in terrains that were owned by Poland years back.)
