This is a video of our boat taken last March; Gale is driving the boat to pick me up in Oceanside harbor.
Anyway -- much as we hate to part with our "Li'l Fishin' Buddy" -- we're gonna sell it.
Specs: It is a 1997 Hydrasport 16 CC (Center Console), 50 hp 2 stroke, Oil injected Johnson outboard motor , two bait tanks, forward fish hold, good for fresh water or salt water, Full cover, Garmin GPS, Raytheon (Apelco) Fish Finder, VHF radio, Compass (Yacht style), 14 rod holders, two trolling rod holders, 20 gallon built in gas tank, raw Water wash-down with coiled hose. Comes with flares, some life-vests, Gets 3-4 mpg (very good for any boat). Top speed is around 25 mph -- I usually cruise at around 20. Very quick, comfortable, and dry. Maximum capacity is 5 people (with a 70hp motor).
We bought it new from SeaWitch Marine in Vista -- I think we bought it Summer, 1997. The boat has always been covered so all of the Vinyl is like new. Has a removable fighting chair (bass chair style) on a post.
We usually take an extra 12 gallons of gas along if we plan to put more than 60 miles on the boat in a day (like going after Albacore or Yellow fin). Plastic gas containers included, if buyer wants them.
Not sure that there is a better boat out there for the money. Trailer in great shape, hubs are new, replaced last winter. Gale says: "Best little fishin' boat out there." She is still talking about some of our 100 fish days in that boat.!!!
