Manfred Mann's Earth Band: Mercury the Winged Messenger, Cleveland 1973

The first song I have on the recording for the concert. I'll upload the rest of what I have soon and post a playlist as well. Been too long to forget this!

It's such a pity that so few recordings of this era seem to exist. There's a commercially released bootleg or two from the Roaring Silence era, though, which is nice, and of course the Budapest DVD (the original "live" album had a ton of edits -- hardly a representation of the liver performance!), and some stuff from the band as it's been more-or-less since 1991, but very little from this 4-man lineup.

These photos are probably mostly contemporary with the performance, since they were in the album Messin' (Get Your Rocks Off in the US) which was also from 1973.
