I hate Daneel Olivaw. This machine behave like a god. He plays with the humans. The creature never perfect than the creator. If I were Golan Trevize I would chosen the First Foundation. I'm not an ant to live in a swarm like Gaia. Group consciousness is an insanity.

Did you guys ever want to live in those worlds. I used to dream of being learning psychohistory and mentalics. In university I did work trying to link evolution within information theory. I think that we can predict future events by treating society as a collective rather than looking at individuals. I wish that I was taught mentalics from a young age.

Also, interestingly, I find that there is a relationship between science fiction and techno music (drum and bass specifically). My reasoning of this is that in drum and bass there tends to be beats with samples from movies thrown into the mix. The samples in many cases come from science fiction movies. I have heard tons of music with samples from Dune, Blade Runner, Road Warrior, Apollo 11 (not sci fi!) and many other movies. There is a correspondence between electronica and sci-fi

The entire Foundation series changed my life. It changed what I studied in university. This series and the Dune series are truly inspired. Asimov and Herbert were geniuses. there is some sort of link.
