  • No, spaceseeker means a cuckoo you dodo. Dodos have been extinct since the 17th Century. They also weighed about 40 lbs and were flightless, so hanging out in nests wasn't exactly their bag. Back to your ornithology 101 text! ;)

  • Video come from a French movie called "le peuple migrateur" by Jaques Perrin, who made "Microcosmos" and "Himalaya", two movies with incredibles images i recommend.

For the video presented, great association the music of Kronos Quartet and this images.

  • @mead2000 this is one of the oddest discussions i have ever seen on youtube, why would anyone ever correct someone so assuredly about something so ridiculous?

  • @LurellePiano Because its beauty is an austere and transcendent from that requires concentration and a certain gentleness of mind, a hesitancy to project strongly, to fully understand. For me the playful half-tones of KQ strain the conventions of harmony just as the genuinely alien behavior of the birds contrasts strongly with our recognition of their agency and their bonding, contrasted against a majestic, vast, and hostile space. I recommend Boards of Canada to you...

  • Why hasn't this hit a billion yet!?

  • KQ are almost as awesome as SR. Not quite, though.

  • ahahha wow thats fascinating!

    clever bastards!

  • stunning video by the way, really inspiring

  • my god that is demonic! lol

  • The cuckoo is programmed for murder before it can even see.

I am inclined to think human society is better than a state of nature; at least there are times and places where weakness is not death and we have at least the potential to restrain base impulses.

  • totally. that was one of the many evil things birds were shown doing to each other in this film. they are no better than humans.

  • Was this song featured in the 11th Hour?
