Maiden Flight of a rigid wing hangglider (ATOS VR) adaptation enabling the pilot to lie on top of the glider and take off by means of a 25 HP rotary engine.
By the way, enthusiasts of Nausicaa´s Mehve may find this machine interesting.

ENHORABUENAS Enrico. Ojalá se interese Felix Rhule por este PROTOTIPO, ya que con un buen desarrollo puede ser una línea que marque las alas delta del futuro.
VEO TRES VENTAJAS IMPORTANTES:
1.- Despegue con independencia de la montaña.
2.- Aterrizaje más fácil que a píe con ruedas-patín a 35 Km./h (la causa más evidente po la que los pilotos de ala delta abandonan este deporte es por la dureza del aterrizaje).
3.- Más rendimiento aerodinámico al integrar al piloto en el fuselaje.

FELICITACIONES , vuestra Nave es una ingeniosa adaptacion de Alas Delta a motor...os pregunto el peso con y sin motor..... La dedicacion y el R&D de este diseño , abre la posivilidad de adaptaciones retrofit post-market en alas tipo FAI Class 1-flex y 5-rigid , y no seria nada raro una evolucion hacia sistemas electricos con prop-feathering. y-o pilot in supine position.... Well, you are obviously not a hang glider pilot. I have been flying now for more than 20 years in a position where my head is the first part to receive the impact in most cases of a crash. Now at least there is a pretty solid structure between me and the ground. Unless of course I hit straight against a wall or I dive vertically towards the ground. In that case I am likely to be screwed regardless of what what apparatus I am flying with.
