Does anyone know what can be done to run this game on a vista machine? (if anything) I miss it. Thanks for posting the vids.

I ran it on XP without a problem. If it doesn't on Vista, try to change the compatibility to run under Windows 95, reduce the resolution and set at 256 colors. Then try running it again.

This was a great game. I played it many times. Maybe it's time to check if the CD I have is still running.

As for the intro: if you have friends like this, you need no enemies ;-)

You're welcome. This game runs fine under XP, so it shouldn't be a problem. You may want to reduce the resolution settings though and set it at 256 colors in the properties.

I have both Shivers games and i can play them both on XP But not on my new windows 7 Samsung PC! Waaaww! My games are like new and i played them alot, I Love Shivers! I have loads of the old PC games and i cant play many of them, Oh it says you need 64 bit or 32 bit or something like that grrrr! I dont like messin around with my new PC!

If nothing else, check the ScummVM website. They say that program is able to run both Shivers 1 and 2.

I was looking for a movie by the same name, but now I have to dig thru my closet and see if I still have this game. It's low tech by todays standards but the soundtrack was eerie and puzzles were fun. Thanks for upload!

Thank you so much for posting this!!! For so many years I have missed playing this game. I absolutely loved it in the '90s (playing for days on end, only stopping to eat and sleep). I was so upset when I couldn't play it anymore on a newer computer (Mac). But here it is! I hope you've posted the entire game. The music, the graphics... I love and miss everything about it and I never thought I'd see it again!
