@jambykool The bible doesn't say we're all sons of God. What it does say is that if we repent of our sins & trust Jesus Christ to be our Savior, then God the father would adopt us into his family & make us sons & daughters unto him. Please read the book of Hebrews for a fantastic explanation of what I just said.
@david1057 cont again. but our flesh means nothing. it is not our flesh that God is concerned with. because our flesh is sinful. it is our spirit. for it says in the bible we must worship God in spirit and in truth.
so even if we de evolved, or mated with demons altering our dna, or became human-animals cross breeds, or cyborgs or altered by "aliens", this cannot stop the salvation of God promised to his people.
sorry if i went a lil off topic and i hope you read all 3 parts.
@david1057 cont..... your theory of of DNA altering after the fall and demons mating with fallen angels all tie in but this is where you are mistaken. and i know of the verses where you use to support the idea of demons and humans mating. of nephilim and son of man and son of god and such. and this all ties down to the conspiracy that the devil is altering humans to deny them salvation. because salvation is for humans, what God created not the fallen angels right?
@david1057 today we need a comp to keep track because we have comp and rely on them. Adam did not have that but his God given mind which we all have. we did not go through a de evolution. nowhere in the bible does it says humans dna or humans were physically altered because of sin. the only alterations were the curses God placed upon the man and the woman for sinning.
and demons do not have flesh, they are spirits. nothing says they have dna or can procreate with humans.
@david1057 New age theology? We are all sons of God and if he is alive in us then I suppose each moment is new. The Bible has many authors and a lot of them are anonymous. Common sense tells me I ought to abide by my own knowledge of what is right and avoid wrongdoing. I do not remain static in my view of science and theology as neither is concrete. I do not seek to correct others opinions or judge them. I am the son of God and live the moment He gives me.
@FreakShizzlez The flood did bring all kinds of atmospheric changes, no question about that. But if men would have not sin, there would be no flood, & no change in the human make furthering damaging what was already damaged. The bible says that as soon as Adam ate from the fruit both of their eyes were opened. That means, there was an instant change that occurred within themselves.
@david1057 It seemed to me the lifespans dramitically decreased after the Flood, seemingly as if in part accelerated by it. What is your opinion or standpoint on this to better help clarify?
@FreakShizzlez The views are very similar, however, they are speaking from a scientific & secular point of view, & I'm speaking from a biblical point of view.
@david1057 Which is what I believe as well. But I do hold that these changes were definitely accentuated by the negative atmospheric/environmental effects brought about by the Flood, however not the original cause.
@FreakShizzlez Not quite. "Genetic entropy" teaches that those changes that I speak about occurred due to changes in the surrounding hemisphere affecting the human DNA.
However, I believe that the changes of the surrounding hemisphere occurred due to God cursing the earth as stated on Genesis 4, & the changes in the human body, came due to the curse of sin.
