The best part of this video is that Weird Al actually won the Grammy for best comedy recording in 1984 for his song Eat It. So awesome.

Weird Al, a nonsense commercial product? I don't think so.

Most artists are extremely flattered to have the Weird Al treatment. Some, like Kurt Cobain, believe they made it when Al parodied them.

Plus, you can listen to crap dime a dozen parodies across the media nowadays, but Al and his bandmates of 30 years are excellent musicians that capture nuances of the original artists' song and style (as seen in Al's originals).

Fine. Prince likes good humor. Too bad he has no respect for Al.
