  • isn´t that a soto makikomi?

  • @Murgah, it is also soto makikomi, but because of the leg placement you can call it harai makikomi as well.

  • locovalija, uchimata would be with a leg between the opponent's legs.

    This is harai goshi.

It's makikomi because of the wrapping effect of the hand while throwing.

  • @Murgah this isn't soto makikomi, it's harai makikomi since he sweep with the leg as well. Soto makikomi is when you have both your feet on the ground.

  • Probably should have locked down more with his arm. Uke would just slide out if he didn't lock in a match

  • @Murgah

Soto makikomi involves having your legs between the opponents, with no sweeping movement involved.

Harai makikomi, obviously, utilizes a harai goshi style sweep.

Uchi maki komi (not to be confused with uchi mata maki komi) involves wrapping the arm under, rather than over, the opponent's.

  • nice job buen trabajo

  • nice

  • @ninjalla thanks ;)

  • This technique would wind your opponent imo. I love it.
