This snake we found driving around the back roads in coloundra near where they farm all the pine trees. Its a freshwater snake or ' toad terminator'. Very placid! Couldn't even get it to bite me! Alot of Australians, especially Queenslanders have horrible, ridiculous and stupid stories of snakes being 'evil' and slithering round biting people... well this video just shows how nice a snake can be!

  • @spiderpug yeah you can hear that Kiwi accient from a mile away LOL

  • @greenrxseven I see your into herping yourself, how are the lacies to look after and train? Are they really tameable?

  • @spiderpug Yeah i herp when ever i can get a chance, Lacies are easy to tame if you have time, you just need to be persistant with them. Mine will climb onto my arm and sit there whyle i watch tv or lay on my coutch next to me, and when ever i'm in my herp room for long peorid's of time i will allow them to cruz around the room as they please.. i should update afew of my videos.

  • @greenrxseven Most animals have personalities, can they turn on you? I imagine things could get messy pretty quickly haha.

  • @spiderpug there quite easly to tell when there about to react to you, and yes they can turn on you in a split second my larger male has tryed to take a hefty chunk out of my forearm completley my fault achol and not washing my hands before handeling them had all the parts to play, lucky nothing serious happened, the next morning he was fine with me as if nothing happened.... but in saying that it takes a long long time to gain there trust. common sence when around them and you'll be fine.

  • @RaffeTheExplorer Cheers! Very good snake, didn't even bite haha

  • Lovely markings on that specimen. About the same size as the non-venomous water snakes we get around this area of the world. Nice snake!

  • Yea, black mambas are sort of grey
