If you have a good fleet commander who knows how to find good fights, yeah it could be common.

This was low security space (gate guns shoot you, and you take security penalty - we are pirates thats why everyones flashing red :).

I'm very new to Eve, but trying to learn as much as I can before heading in prostyle. Anyways, I'm a bit confused with tankses and so on. How and why do you tank? And why can't you just ignore dps'ing the tank and go for the other ships? :o

@jamma222 Eve is diverse. You could run into large groups (and large ships) of players that are enemies or out to get anyone. You could also go to certain places to find NPC enemies ranging from small and weak to very powerful and challenging. It all depends on where you are, what you're trying to do, and your relationships with other entities (players, corporations, alliances).

so is eve the kind of game where you could be flying randomly and you might fly into an area that has some huge ass mofo enemy ship or some planet which you can find stuff on or blow up or is it the kind of game that you go to ceratin place where there will be a few little ships. Thanks

good fight guys, split your aggro when carrier reps you can take down one of the 2 taht way, find which has lesser buffer and siwtch all dps to it when rep fails to keep up.
