In 2001 I built this quadruped robot. I used static tables to make it moves. Six years later I have returned to that project and I have added a CPG aproach to improve the control system.

  • what do you use for the brain? or is it being controled through computer?

  • It uses a 8-bit microcontroller. The first one was te 68hc11 but the current version uses a PIC16f876 (Skypic)

    The cable that you see there is the power supply, in that video it is not using the internal batteries.
