Yet another example of why I got out of this hobby: the wonderful people you can meet all over the world.

yeah whenever I hear people acting like a certain frequency belongs to them, I just transmit an SSTV test pattern a couple of times. There's no point in arguing with them, but you can basically jam/annoy them in a mostly legal way like that and they usually leave.

Ahhhhhhhh...... 75 meter phone. Now I remember why I stick to CW and digital.

The Dutch ham is PA3FAO
-
just move to another frez, geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

That's clearly a PA station, very recognisable "steenkolen Engels" as we call it (stone coal English, with a Dutch accent). So much for tolerance. On the behalf the many PA stations, my sincere apologies for this arrogant non tolerant behaviour. Regardless whether the (Italian?) station is a ham or a pirate. The PA station is not allowed to speak to a pirate so is violating ham regulations as well (only allowed to speak to somebody who is allowed on the band).

Seems 80m did degrade quite a bid since I last had a chance to operate almost 20 yrs ago.

That happens alot on 80 meters, some people claim frequencys as their own home freq. some people do not have a clue what hamspirit means
