  • Whilst this is certainly quite crazy to watch & extremely idiotic. I can't but help feel that it is akin to animal abuse, i mean this isn't a guy wandering into the woods to fight a bear in a ''man vs wild''. Its an extremely controlled situation where the bear can never get the upper hand & i'm amazed the fight was even allowed take place legally

  • >>> And although you may think Dakota was mistreated, it was actually Don who suffered bites, deep scratches that required stitches and many more bruises than he cared to remember.

Finally, I suppose you would prefer Dakota were turned loose?

If that' s the case then you are not very knowledgeable about animals born in captivity and being set loose in the wild. Most would die of either starvation or becoming prey themselves.

  • ohh now i see what kevjumba does

  • I know this man personally and was invited into his home. He is a huge man with an even bigger heart, The bear was trained and far from hurt. The three time world best body guard (Whom owns his own company to protect you) is a very dosile an gental man. YOUr over analyzing the point...this guy can put 800 lbs on the gound before you get mugged, hurt, your girl gets raped, etc!!! Animal rights had their fun, now show the guy some respect.

  • I'm surprised you could fight Dom's balls in the ring

  • @xIkeMainerx No, it was a promo match done for a company that organizes world wrestling events and also a bet between two brothers LOL.

  • @cybercorp2000 LOL isn't that from those carnival commercials? I live in Kansas too.

  • @TheTvrulesthenation

Yeah I they do mention it was at the Predators in Action Facility, but didn't actually mention what the facility was. Its a training facility for Movie Animals, in reality I guess you could say Dakota is a star.

My son-in-law used to work there before he and my daughter moved to Kansas.

I guess they thought twisters were safer than lions and tigers and bears, Oh My! LOL

No can't say i know any of the backdetails, i merely read it on a Yahoo News article & decided to check this one out. If i recall the article didn't mention the bear was trained & domesticated. I presumed this was a wild bear (in captivity) that somehow was agreed to be used in a fight

  • @TheTvrulesthenation

While if I had not known the nature of all of this first hand I might be inclined to agree with you, I assure you no neither party (Man or Bear) was subject to abuse. Dakota (The Bear) is a trained HOLLYWOOD actor. I personally can vouch for this. The grizzly , Dakota was and is trained by professional animal handlers and lives in Big Bear Calif. Don Menaldi, a professional wrestler and body guard, who wrestled Dakota.
