i had my tonsils, abnords, and yuvilla (however you spell it) taken out 8 days ago and this is terrible. i'm getting flu like symptons, can hardly swallow, and havent eaten since the day before the surgery. i'm suffering big time and had to go back to my job which requires lots of labor. does anybody know how long all this lasts or what i can do to get better?

@BellaDiPlastica thanks :) but now its been 5 days lol im still going strong and ikr waking up in recovery u cant feel a thing well not that much but when i came home my mom said im not really the same she said you used to be hyper and always teasing now your all quiet and not the same :( oh well thanks for the advice @BellaDiPlastica

It's not that bad. I just came out of surgery a few hours ago. The anesicia really knocked me out. After that, all I remembered was waking up in the recovery room. The pain was minimum, it's not as bad. They gave me Morphine and before u know it, I felt no pain(: you'll be fine.

I'm getting mine out on 2/15/12 I'm so freakin scared that doctor was telling my mom it may bleed I felt like I was gonna die I'm like so scared but u showed me not to be scared so I'ma go through it hopefully pray for me lol :(
