Legislators have accused British police of being heavy-handed in dealing with demonstrators, just days before expected violent protests at next week's G20 summit of world leaders in London.
Parliament's Joint Select Committee on Human Rights said police were misusing counter-terrorism laws and anti-social behavior legislation to deal with protesters. The criticism follows complaints about police handling of a climate-change demonstration in southeast England last year. Press TV's Uzma Hussain reports.

  • SICK COPS!

  • action against this abuse of human rights!

  • I was awake. I stopped believing the fake saints and saviours. I stopped being the guilty victim. I felt the rage and anger of generations enslaved by the doctrine of sacrifice. Rejoice in the freedom of rational minds! Today I joined the revolution.Today I start creating a new future! Viva la Revolution

  • it all kicks off march 28th

  • lol trust press tv for pointing out the failure of britain to govern itself properly.

but what a sad day when violent thugs become the ones protecting us on the streets, a day when the wolf became the shepherd

  • It's like the government already knew from the start that there will be protest.
