  • YAMAHA saw what the future will require and went 4 stroke early and now it is paying off for them... they have truly mastered the art of the 4 stroke sled no matter what the riding terrain

  • hahahahah SkidooFan9....skidoos are NOT the most realiable sled out there all sleds blow up, skidoos just do it more then others, all my buddys own skidoos, and there JUNK they barely get down the driveway before they blow up

  • @cdtank1 a z1 turbo would get raped by these sleds

  • id like to see one of them beat a z1 turbo

  • sorry tommy but i dont think my apex will get passed by any xc700sp. yamaha may be slow out of at the start but they make up for it on the top.

  • @bigstudtommy93 yes i agree the power too weight ratio of a 2 stroke is great. but in time the 4 strokes will have their way they did in motocross and quads but theres nothing like the smell of premix and. the look of some guy on a $10 000 4 stroke sled getting passed by an old xc700sp!! hahaha. and yes the new 4 strokes are a bit heavy but so were the first 4 stroke quads and mx bikes sadly in time they will be superior.

  • @RonniesGarage I don't think 2 strokes are on their last leg. A friend's sled broke when we went out riding and he had to rent. He had a vector one day, and a phazer the next. Neither sled were worth a crap compared to even my 600. The vector did have decent power, and was ok on trails that was it. The phazer was very underpowered and incredibly tippy.

  • @RonniesGarage Its carb'd...i believee. Im relatively young, and we bought the sled used, so i still dont know too much about it, except for one thing. It is scary fastt. Hahaha. We went from an 86 Skidoo 355 or somethin to this...and it is quite the upgrade! Weve had quite a few problems with it so far tho

  • @Vashie0 i mostly ride dirtbikes and i know for sure id choose a 2stroke over a 4 stroke for bikes even if the new 4's are faster the violent powerband of a 2 stroke is much more enjoyable. and thats good to know because ive got a 1999 Polaris XC 700 SP lol. my first sled and damn it moves! just gotta rejet th carbs she aint runnin to good past 80mph. is your sled carb'd or efi?

  • @RonniesGarage Idkk man. THese things are nuts for suree. My uncle has a 2010 FX Nytro and we have a '00 Polaris XC 700, and our races are pretty neck and neck. Ill always love the sound of a 2 stroke more tho, personally

  • 4 stroke sleds are definately the sickest sounding things iv ever heard! too bad 2 strokes are on their last leg theyre great but 2 stroke owners including myself lets just hope we dont see one of these beasts fly by us out on the trail.wow.

  • its funny the brand loyalty wars on sleds its soooo childish.

All four of the big manufacturers make good sleds, but whats a good sled for one person is a horrible sled for another, find the one that suits you best and enjoy.

Im a 4stroke fan and wouldn't own 2 stroke but that doesn't mean Im right and they are wrong it just means we like different things
