Ryan Brod and Daniel Sites, two Maine documentary filmmakers, are working on a documentary called Hardwater: A Maine Ice Fishing Odyssey. They visited the Jack Traps factory retail store in December and created this short video. The end contains a preview from Hardwater, which is expected to be released this coming fall.

I have used Jack Traps for 26 years, and the set I have now are going on 16 years. One of my favoret things about Jack Trap is the smooth release and real turn because finiky fish spook when it takes alot of pull to set a flag up. My family has a camp on East Grand. I have spent lots of winters there. My Jack Traps have withstood -40 days and one a distracted snowmobiler. These traps have been with me through thick and thin(lol). Thanks for a trap that is best amoung all.
