@sweetypie000 You're right to be honest. Many serial bank robbers who are caught still become rich after they are released. They usually only leave enough evidence to be convicted of the one robbery so they only have to pay back for that one time. Apart from that they simply get away with the cash when there isn't enough evidence.

@657james 23 years for one and the rest got 16 years. They will do half those sentences as is the norm in British jails - they didn't kill anyone
So, for lets say 7 years jail term they almost got away with a ton of cash.
beats working for a living and I'm sure many people would take the gamble for such a lenient punishment

they got 71 years BETWEEN them. That's NOTHING. They will all be out well before they are old men. The jewels were never recovered ! They will come out, leave the country and live in luxury the rest of their lives with the £40 million WTF
