I've personally had a few episodes of Sleep Paralysis, not too fun. You sort of 'wake up' and realize you can't breathe or move. First time it happened to me I was screaming inside my head, it's like you're walking a tightrope of wakefulness and being asleep.

I think besides these full blown episodes (only had 4 so far in my life), I believe I've had mini ones. Which is sort of having the paralysis for a few seconds instead of what felt like a full minute with the intense ones.

yes! that is exactly what mine were like very scary. the latst few i have had wern't as bad since i understand what they are. it's a weird feeling when in the back of your mind you except it and ride it out. like i have started trying to understand what is real and what isn't when you have them. how you see your hands moviing but you can feel they really aren't. and how you know you are screaming but it's only inside your head

Such fond memories completely renewed!!! So glad to hear this song after so many years for me in the wilderness from The Cure
