  • Wonder how many Fantasian elephants had to be slaughtered to build the Ivory Tower LOL

  • Man, I see no reason to not include this wonderful piece of music along with the soundtrack!! why they couldn't put it instead of that synth piece of shit?! :( they just don't know any better... I'm also respecting Klaus Doldinger, and all of his music works in the film. But, as I grown on the American version, Giorgio Moroder's "Ivory Tower" piece is better for my opinion. It's like those circles on the top of the tower used as the bells sounds in the music piece of it :) Always felt like that.

  • can someone please tell me the name of the music played in the first few seconds in this video?!?! (0:00 to 0:13)

    THANKS!! x

  • @krystlerita it was built from eunuchhorns... whuahahahahaha

  • That moment when the Ivory tower emerges from behind those rocks is to this day one of the most exhilarating moments of my entire life!

  • Adrenaline!

  • @krystlerita

it was well worth it, it is such a beautiful tower

  • @Volodioso You welcome dude.

  • @Strekoza OMG!! Thank you so much for the link which led me to a downloadable mp3!! I know it had beed 2 years, but I have been looking for this theme sooo desperately!!

  • @Volodioso Nope. The first seconds IS Klaus Doldinger's (track no. 14 on the German released OST - Flug Zum Elfenbeinturm), the latter (0:22) IS definitely by Giorgio Moroder (a version which absent off the American released OST - watch?v=e48CINCrIJM).

But hey, it's 2 years behind, now :)

  • @Strekoza Aren't you mixing it up? The piece you can hear here is Klaus Doldinger's, which I could not find anywhere in any of the soundtracks I have bought. Instead, they've put Moroder's one, qhich is more modern and with a lot of synth. I personally like this one faaaar better. Does anyone know where I could get it?

  • There's something about this track that touches a deeper part of the brain. i'm 28 years old and to this day I still get an awesome sense of reverence and legacy when I here this tune. In some ways this is the best piece of music ever put to a movie scene.
