GM has more corporate jets in its fleet than functional Volt vehicles

its just a publicity stunt to get more bailout money

remember lutz called the prius a publicity stunt years ago

All i can say is that GM killed the production car. I am so disappointed that it wasn't the concept.

@cxpage Since my previous comment, GM has gone into and come out of bankrupcty and this thing they are calling en electric car is actually a plug-in hybrid.

I look at the prototype volt from 2007 and think what a great car along the lines of the Chrysler C300 and now the production car has been unveiled, I look and see a Prius shopping basket knock off. if you haven't seen it yet look up 'Overview: 2011 Chevrolet Volt'. Kind of what they did to the prototype of the Charger into the C300 turning a sporty muscle car into a truck. Great concept, disappointing outcome. But I am happy about the EV actually coming to life.

vicjay1972 you ar mostly correct about the K.Benz stuff, too bad they mercedes builds overpriced unreliable cars today, in fact the Ford Focus is more reliable than any mercedes at any price. For some reason over the last 10 years mercedes has gone down hill big time

thats just not true, GM is in this for the long term and has a lot of functional volts

No worries. Ford did the whole "manufacturing" thing, and benz was a nazi. But ford gave Hitler money on his birthday... soo.... IDK where I am going with this.
