The Brides March came about with the death of a young women, who was shot in cold blood on her wedding day by her abusive-ex boyfriend. As she stood in her living room posing for her wedding pictures in her wedding dress, he tragically took her life just moments before she was to wed another man.
The wedding dress, the symbol of happiness and ever lasting love has been tainted and has become a symbol of Domestic Violence. We will use the wedding dress to bring awareness to Domestic Violence in our communities.
