Charles Barkley golf swing compared to Michelle Wie

Golf Channel ran this segment during the LPGA Navistar event. Beth Daniel played it straight longer than I anticipated, before breaking down in the absurdity of the comparison.

Her suggestion that Barkley switch to left handed makes sense but it's hardly original. It's been mentioned on major golf message boards for years, and specifically during the months of the Haney Project.

Let me guess, some wag will point out that Barkley and Wie have the same number of wins.

BTW, Charles has tinkered with left handed shots, including at a celebrity event during the summer. There are a couple of videos on YouTube.

As Beth Daniel proposed, his lefty swing is not as tortured. He still chips and putts righty.

u would figure with all the wealth Barkley has, he could hire the best instructors, to at least get a decent swing .......wtf ?

i mean....its just the strangest move. He should try a steve stricker type swing. total body rotation with no arms. moving too far off the ball is not the end of the world, but I wonder if he is too club oriented. just a turn away, turn through with no hand/arm action.
