Sony Europe has provided a first glimpse of exactly how it will be supporting a young team in its bid to stop the devasting effects of wildfires. The team of six, whose Forest Guard idea won the recent Climate Actions contest, were invited to Sonys professional headquarters at Basingstoke in the UK to work with Sony engineers on making their idea come alive for the first time.
This behind the scenes video has been put together to give a unqiue glimpse into exactly how Sony is working with these young environmentalists. The emphasis for the two days the Forest Guard spent at Basingstoke was working with Sony specialists to hone and refine the idea.

Way to go Sony to see a great idea...even when it comes from kids. I'd like to see if this really gets implemented in real life so that forest fires that may threaten lives and homes can be detected before they really damage.
