UPDATED 12-01-2012 - EXPAND ME!

Apologies to everyone watching this video. The last minute was cut off. I suspected YouTube was at fault, but on further investigation it turns out that my video encoder choked at the last minute (pun not intended) and that portion of the video was not encoded. The list of references I linked down below was also included at the end of the video and the tally count did not finish showing on screen. Finally, a further explanation of my conclusion was lost.

Let me know if you want me to re-encode and upload the video again. I won't do so unless enough people are interested, as it's over a gigabyte of upload and takes hours to encode from my editing software.

Original Description:

Censorship is not a valid argument.

This is a not-so-critical analysis of NephilimFree's "Educating the Dodo" series from 3 years back. It is a re-authoring of my original series with a lot more data and the inclusion of many more references than previously. Hopefully it is slightly more entertaining.

Unfortunately my list of references is too large to fit into the description box, so I have included them in the following link. Let me know in the comments or by PM if the link expires for any reason.

They include the original references that the ExtantDodo channel cited in their original critical analysis video.

There are many channels that have made some excellent responses to NephilimFree's nonsense, and I will add them here as I discover them. For now, the following channels have responded to NephilimFree in the past:

  • Whoever added the final fantasy 8 themes to the video needs to never do it again, and if it was Neph, then he needs to be sued for using copyrighted music.

  • @omegaheartless "Whoever added the final fantasy 8 themes to the video needs to never do it again"

Guilty as charged. The guy's a loon, and I wanted something equally "out there" as background music for his portions of the video... I realise not everyone will like it, and I get it.

  • Yo dawg, I heard you like critique videos. So we put a critique video inside a video critiquing a critique video, so you can see someone getting critiqued while critiquing a critique.

    I miss ExtantDodo and cdk007

  • @CSHallo "Why did ExtantDodo stop their videos?"

I've really no idea. I'd like to know though. It seems they just disappeared one day.

I like their format (which is why I use it here in a fashion). It's a shame. I was looking forward to more Hovindism videos from them too.

  • @FSAthe1st The BGM from the game was one of the few things that made me finish that game.

Also, it's rather sad that Nephilimbraaaaaains lacks the ability to act like an adult and not make such asinine ad-homonym attacks and actually research the bullshit that he spouts and actually try to understand or, at the very least, acknowledge what his opponents say instead of plugging his ears and calling bullshit.

  • @FSAthe1st Oh no no, it was just goofy and, I'm quite a fan for that particular game, so I thought it was rather weird that it was there.

  • It's actually difficult for me to listen to NephilimFree because of how incoherent he is. I have to listen to segments a couple times to try and understand what he's getting at. I hope I'm not the only one.

  • Well I guess in a way we are lucky there is so many different beliefs that the creationist fight among themselves or it would either be like Iran and Iraq that kill or fire educators that do not mention Allah did it,or they would not only be blowing up clinics in the USA they would target colleges and science facilities.

  • I know this is off topic but about species,I do not remember where I heard it from but supposedly there are species that we still do not know of.How does science go about discovering these"new species"where do they start looking and what species or kind do they have for comparison if any.Do they start at something random they happen to come across or do they know what a new species (from research of course)should be?

  • @XGralgrathor "And of course, backups are for pussies-"

Yeah... That attitude has cost me many a project I've worked on in the past... You'd think I'd learn by now.

  • @XGralgrathor "These days, I merely caution the creationist to specify whether he means the emergence of new species, or the emergence of major taxa. After all, both are evidenced"

I'll have to remember that question if I find myself dealing with a Creationist in the future. It's a good point.

  • Correction: I enjoy all the final fantasy music in here.
