I love Chuck Jones Tom and Jerry. :) I almost bought the DVD until I saw that the video was cropped. D: If there were a full-screen DVD release, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. ^_^

I don't know why people prefer the Chuck Jones T&J's to T&J Tales. T&J Tales is more like the original. It has more dialogue & it has some of the characters from the original. Besides T&J look more like they did in the original in T&J Tales than in CJ's version.

I like this one but NOTHING WILL EVER beat the Hanna-Barbera Tom and Jerry ones.

@Darika3223 As far as I know, the Spotlight Collection doesn't have any Chuck Jones Tom & Jerry. Plus, those DVD's were edited. Besides, there's a new DVD release of Tom & Jerry that's unedited and uncropped, which I will be getting.

@ArkanhellMagno Whether the 1975 version is the best is a matter of opinion! I think I will stop saying it's the best but only because I'm tired of people telling me it's not the best when I definitely think it is.

@Stephen10528 F**k the original. Deitch's masterpieces are hated just because they came just afterwards, and no one wants to chage what is good and already love. But that's not Deitch'es fault. MGM close the animation studio and Hanna-Barbera has moved on with their own studio when they wanted to make new episodes. The Sindicated series are simply awful. Stop saying '75 version is the best, 'cause it's not. (sorry misspellings, english is not my language).

Out of all Tom and Jerry productions. Chuck Jones' is my favourite of them all.
