Here is a very quick and easy way to make an old flashlight brighter.

I used a Pelican BigD low bulb (11W) and x3 Surefire CR123a's

The light was an old light I found in our boiling cupboard.

**Warning** this mod will make the light brighter but also hotter. If used for more than 30 seconds at a time you run the risk of melting it.

I hope you enjoy this video.

  • why do all that when you can go on ebay on buy a 300lm flashlight that is much better for only7-10 buck and last way much longer

  • @nvle5

A More important question is why you would comment on a video that is 4 years old...

I'm only replying out of curiousity. Yes you can do that and I would recommend that you do that. I doubt however that 4 years ago you could get a 300lm flashlight for 7-10$

    At least not legitimate lumens.

  • buy a 3d led maglite i did wow its awesome i went outside at night with it and u could literally see the beam of light for about a mile straight up into the sky its wicked

  • @airsoftpaintkiller1 I've got a 50W HID serach light for that. :-D

  • Where did u get the song? its awesome kind a like a halo theme

  • You can find the song on your computer if you have Windows XP.

    Its located at C\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images

Look for a song called title.wma

You might have to enable hidden files view.

  • @airsoftpaintkiller1 or so it looks like that. really it is only a few hundred feet before it disperses. go eBay: "t6 led flashlight" and buy one that comes wit the battery + charger ($30) it will make that light of yours look like crap! then if you dare, get a huge expensive hid 30W 2700 lumen light, or a 50W 4200 lumen -- 80W 7000 lumen hid light (literly bright as day)

  • Neither of them are very bright.
