Movies like this show Hispanics in the worst way, uneducated gang bangers.
Why don't the families save the " Quinceanera " for something more valuable for their daughters like a higher education to get out of the cycle of poverty and crime.

The movie isn't saying how bad begin a Latino/Latina is or showing Latino's in a negative way its shows how through life's hard time that family will always be there for you. And in Latino culture family is very important so its actually showing Latino's in a positive way
