Palestinian leader confirms request for full UN membership

In New York Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas has met with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. He confirmed in the meeting he will press ahead with plans to seek full U.N. membership for a Palestinian state.
That request will be presented to the United Nations Security Council on Friday in defiance of calls to back down. French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe added his voice saying the bid would not pass the Security Council. The US remain emphatic too.

Once upon time, (mostly) non mideastern european zionist jewish immigrants established a jewish racist colony on a land where the majority where neither jewish or zionists. can any of u read a freakin map?...which part of this so-called palestinian state do we recognize; gaza or the west bank?...if u say both, how can u have a state when part of it iz on the oppisite side (non-contiguous) of another freakin country?...where iz its capital?...does any1 seriously think that even if israel gave the pals everything they wanted that it will bring peace?...the muslims will never settle for peace with israel no matter what...u peeps need to get freakin real!
