This Braconid wasp is laying eggs into the same beetle it hatched from. The beetle and wasp are both in a sealed Petri dish.

  • Poor Ladybug! That's why I don't agree with the use of parasitic wasps to control aphids; They don't just attack the bad bugs. Seems like it's counterproductive to use something that kills beneficial insects as well as the aphids. Just get ladybugs and lacewings.
