Slideshow: 3-D Triptych Trips via Dov Lederberg

A slideshow of eight large triptych paintings made between 2008-10, revealing by means of close-ups and camera movement features about the paintings which otherwise may be overlooked. As in most of my other paintings I like to create an abstract illusionist gestalt which invites the viewer's interaction and interpretation. The paintings can be divided into two categories: lyric symbolic and what may be termed."political response", the latter (representing the minority of my work) being my reaction to to the surreal conditions of living in Israel today.
