  • Well, not all vinyl is pressed from digital sources. There are some musicians who will record and master their music on analogue equipment. Analogue is different than digital: with film, you have grain vs. noise. I personally like grain better, but there are some shots I'd only take with a digital camera. I'm not saying one is better than the other, I'm just saying that each has a set of strengths and weaknesses, as well as certain charms.

  • Yeah that's what I pretty much found after all this. There's definitely still a time and a place for both formats and there's no reason to completely dismiss either format.

  • @fishsquire i think digital is ment for video and analoge is purly ment for audio. Digital images are much more vivid than analoge images but digital audio takes the sound and only takes certain parts of the sound wave. Analoge audio takes all of the soundwave and reprodues it perfectly creating a fuller more spacious sound
