i think he tries to preserve his voice for live gigs and occasionally sings on shows, remember when ppl sing every night in a row for weeks on end, their voice will strain and travelling will tire anyone

Well, I'm not trying to say that that guy can't sing, I've watched many real live performances by him, and especially I like his performances in Smokie from the 70's-80's (Warsaw 1977, Essen 1978, Bratislavska Lyra 1983, Bulgaria 1985, Bradford 1985, Frankfurt 1986 etc.), but I MUST react when a guy are using playback BEFORE SO MANY PEOPLE. And the band playing on the record from 1977, is Smokie. So his BAND are MIMING TO SOMETHING THEY DIDN'T EVEN PLAYED!
