ok look tanya tucker did cover this song WITH the Aces as the backing band-it was billed as Tanya Tucker WITH The Amazing Rhythm Aces the reason tanyas hit was good is because The Aces were the band carrying the tune

Listen to the recorded version back in 1976 or so. No one could do it better. This is a bunch of OLDER Aces most likely not all original members.Once you hear the original you'll forget all about Leo Sayer and his dead skunk.

I have the original recording and I must agree it is the best. In fact I have all the Aces stuff and still spin them on vinyl. This song constantly pops up in my head, as do many tunes recorded by the Aces. "The Last Letter Home" is also another of my favorites. I love them all actually. They sure have had some great album covers as well. I will always cherish The Amazing Rhythm Aces!
