MY BIG CHOP!!! - The Start of my Natural Hair Journey

I hope this channel encourages other women out there on thier natural hair journeys.

I also created this channel to encourage myself...so I won't be scared to embrace the true me. The way God Intended.

I am not a "lye basher" nor do I take an extreme point of view on black hair as some do. I know all Black Women are Beautiful relaxed or natural. It's YOUR hair and YOU can do whatever you want to it. Being Natural does not make me or anyone any different or better than any other black woman and vice versa.

I can't believe how divided the natural hair community is, to me it's disappointing.

I am here to document my hair growth, haircare, experiences, mis steps if any to help and encourage other women who are thinking about going natural, already natural, relaxed hair but still curious about natural hair growth e.t.c.

I truly hope this Journey is Rewarding for me...I am Excited, Happy, Scared, Nervous, Prayerful and Hopeful that my hair will grow and that I don't get frustrated and maybe even give up.

But they say you'll never know until you try so **deep breath** Here Goes!

Your short natural hair is beautiful. :) I'm thinking about going to go natural also. I'm very scared because I don't know what products to put in my hair.  Also, I don't know how I'm going to rock my hair. However, you look beautiful.

Loving the natural look. It's beautiful. You know have to worry about others look b/c they are. I've learned since my BC on 12/29/10, that many women want to go natural, but afraid and many men love it... So that's why they're looking. Natural hair is always stunning :D So smile & Enjoy It.

@chiddiegirly Thanks for your comment. I did cut off all my relaxed hair. My hair is quite wavy/curly rather than coily especially the front which is 3b/3c texture. It's all my natural hair :)

i think you still need to cut off your relaxed ends...thats if you've not done so already cos I think you still have some relaxed ends in there. . It may cause breakage in the long run. goodluck.
