I now have it installed in the living room and this is to show how it functions. I am very pleased with the result - a few minor jobs to be done then a paint job and it will be fitted and this series will be finished. - I am now preparing an e-book on making a pot belly stove with more info and tips - if any one is interested please let me know . . . • how much to make me one...i live in england and would pay postage delivery labour etc?

  • @toppertruthio Hi - Sorry for the delay - Unfortunately I do not have time to make another as I am busy with a few other projects. Thanks anyway for contacting me . . . Mac

  • hi I see your stove video was added january 2009 do you still have the same stove and would you make any changes to it after 12 months use.

  • Hi - I do indeed have the same stove, which has been well used during the current cold spells. The only change I have made is to put a hinge on the baffle plate so enable me to clean the flue pipe without having to remove the stove - I'll see if I can take some pics and add an ammendment . . . regards . . . Mac

  • I had an idea that if a box structure could be made from thin plate and the flue run through it ( but not at same atmosphere ) The residual heat fro the flue could be ducted thro to other rooms...A small fan (run from solar? ) providing the draught What do you think??

  • I have seen a picture of a wood stove radiator that attaches to the flue somewhere - can't remember where though. Your idea sounds fine as there is always some waste heat going up the flue - maybe you could wrap a few coils of copper pipe around the flue and blow or suck the air into an air vent in another room - what do you think . . . . Mac

  • ok no problem mac, cheers anyway

  • I have watched all your videos about your stove and love them all, really good videos and you have done yourself proud.Outstanding job. Joe

  • I'm very impressed. Looks like you could sale it! Cheers from across the pond.

  • I love your inventiveness and your creativity when it comes to metal working. I am going to build one of these myself. I am going to add air injection at the top to encourage a complete burn of the gases before they exit the flue. Also, thanks for mentioning farenheit as well as celsius for us American viewers.
